BASSILICA was conceived around an unlikely musical meeting: the monumental sound of a Gregorian-inspired male choir in a vast cathedral, combined with the driving energy of contemporary deep and progressive house. A commanding, slightly husky male lead brings human intensity to the arrangements, while powerful basslines and hypnotic rhythms carry the music towards the dancefloor. Midnight Mass begins as an exhilarating nocturnal celebration, built for the atmosphere of a late-night house festival. Its second chapter gradually moves into daylight, exchanging some of that intensity for warmer, more relaxed grooves — a musical journey from midnight ritual to morning release.
